Hi,

Exporting a chart to a jpg image from the WPF version works fine but in the SL version the background is black instead of white (see attachment).

Thanks
Vincent

Hi Vincent,

Try setting Background property in Chart to "White" and check.

Hi Shoaib

That did it, thanks.
Are there other properties I need to take care of to make sure the exported image looks exactly like the image on screen?

Vincent,

No. Only you have to set Background property in Chart to "White".

Melya,

JPG image does not support Transparency. You have to save Visifire Chart in PNG format. Since Visifire does not provide direct support for saving chart in PNG format you can follow the below approach in order to save the chart in PNG format.

I already used this way and i found that in my case black background because of ElementHost object which i used for adding chart to WinForms application.

It seems you are trying to export chart to JPG image in Silverlight. Please note that JPG does not support transparency. As you mentioned on another post that chart is added inside the Grid. If you don't want to set a Background to chart, you can set the Background of Grid to White.
